Technological Migration, Customizations and Developments Eptura-Archibus at Veolia Argentina

Formerly Dalkia Argentina, Veolia was founded in 1853 and is headquartered in France. It is a world leader in environment-related services, offering water, waste and energy management, integrated and multi-service solutions. It also provides global management of private and public buildings, engineering services and installation of ancillary services facilities with a nationwide presence.

Veolia (at that time Sadmitec S.A.) initially acquired ARCHIBUS® in 1999 to support the Facility Management services it offers to major organizations. Since then, ABTIO has worked closely with Veolia, for whom it has implemented several version upgrades and enhancements to the application.

In 2016, ABTIO migrated the productive environment of the Archibus-Eptura application from Veolia’s old servers to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. This project included the migration of the database server and the web application server.

In addition, in the same year, ABTIO completed the deployment in production of a package of developments and customizations in response to various improvements requested by Veolia.

The Archibus-Eptura applications and processes currently implemented are:

  • General Services help desk.
  • Corrective Maintenance.
  • Preventive Maintenance.
  • Resource management (materials, tools, technicians and contractors).
  • Issuance of management reports.
