Oracle HCM Cloud at Maxiconsumo: Implementation and Evolution (2024–2026)
Client
Maxiconsumo offers one of the broadest assortments in food, beverages, cleaning products, personal hygiene, and general merchandise. Today, it operates 36 stores across Buenos Aires, Greater Buenos Aires (Conurbano), and other regions of Argentina.
Challenge
With a growing operation and distributed teams, the HR area needed to:
- Centralize information and standardize key processes.
- Improve visibility to support decision-making.
- Build a solid foundation for talent and performance management without relying on manual work.
Solution
In July 2024, Maxiconsumo selected ABTIO to implement Oracle HCM Cloud, deploying HR, talent, performance, and reporting capabilities.

Impact
The implementation and subsequent evolution enabled Maxiconsumo to:
- Consolidate a single HR system of record to operate with greater consistency.
- Accelerate adoption through ongoing support and operational adjustments throughout 2025.
- Strengthen performance and talent management with processes, tracking, and OTBI reporting designed for day-to-day HR management.
In 2025, ABTIO supported operations with functional and technical services focused on adoption and continuous improvement. Key workstreams included:
- Performance and evaluations: probation period setup, creation and tracking of evaluations, support for key users, and preparation for the 2026 Performance Review cycle.
- Structure and positions: position hierarchy adjustments, department creation, and ongoing organizational structure maintenance.
- Store-based management and mass uploads: configuration of a flexible “Store” field and segmented bulk data loads.
- Reporting and dashboards: ongoing evolution of OTBI reports, operational reporting, and dashboard development.
- Updates and adoption: support during updates (e.g., 25B) plus training and role adjustments.
