Expansion of Oracle PeopleSoft ERP for the Central Bank of Argentina
In July 2025, the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) entrusted ABTIO with the expansion of its Oracle PeopleSoft ERP solution, incorporating the Supply Chain Management module with the aim of optimizing the administration of the Cash Cycle.
The BCRA is the monetary authority of the Argentine Republic and the governing body of the national financial system. Its main functions include issuing currency, regulating financial institutions, and executing the country’s monetary policy.
Contracted services
The expansion includes:
- Provision of licenses
- License maintenance service
- Provision of consulting services for the installation, configuration, integration, migration, and implementation of the solution offered
- Provision of post-production maintenance service for the solution
- Technical, functional, and operational training for the BCRA work team, training on the use of the solution for end users

Oracle PeopleSoft SCM is an ERP solution designed to efficiently manage all processes related to the supply chain. Its main features include:
- Inventory and logistics management
- Physical asset lifecycle tracking

- Integration with financial and administrative systems
By incorporating this module, the BCRA will be able to optimize the traceability, availability, and distribution of cash, thereby strengthening its operational and internal control capabilities.
