ABTIO + European Commission – Framework Contract for Professional Services Supporting Real Estate Management with Archibus by Eptura

The European Commission (EC) has entrusted ABTIO with supporting the transformation of its real estate management system through the implementation of Archibus IWMS by Eptura, consolidating a partnership focused on digital evolution and operational efficiency across Europe.

This Framework Contract represents a new milestone for ABTIO, reinforcing its commitment to offering sustainable, scalable technological solutions that are aligned with the highest international standards.

The context

The European Commission is the executive body of the European Union and is responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, and managing EU policies and budgets.

With more than 32,000 employees in 27 countries, the Commission works to ensure the efficient functioning of the Union and to coordinate key policies on the economy, innovation, infrastructure, and sustainability.

As part of its modernization strategy, the EC is promoting the renewal of its real estate technology ecosystem through its Infrastructure and Logistics Offices in Brussels and Luxembourg and the Directorates-General for Interpretation and Communication.

The goal: to build a more integrated, data-driven asset management system supported by Archibus IWMS, enabling efficient, transparent, and connected administration across its various European locations.

The challenge

Managing thousands of buildings, assets, and workspaces spread across multiple countries is a complex challenge.

The Commission needed a solution that was:

Under this contract, ABTIO will provide services for:

  • Evolution and expansion of Archibus modules and integrations.
  • Specialized functional and technical consulting.
  • Customized training for European Commission teams.
