Prosegur Compañía de Seguridad, S.A "Prosegur" is a multinational security company, headquartered in Madrid, Spain.
Prosegur was founded in 1976 by Herberto Gut. It began as a private security company, with a particular focus on power plants, industrial facilities, and shopping malls. In 1987, it became the first security company to be listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange, and it remains the largest company in the private security sector in Spain.
Prosegur operates in 26 countries on four continents. Prosegur's entry into new markets and its subsequent expansion have often been carried out through acquisitions. Its operations initially grew through Spain, Portugal and Latin America, but have since expanded to other parts of Europe and Asia.
Prosegur is currently implementing the Oracle HCM Cloud solution to cover Human Resources processes in each of the countries where they have a presence.
